Piano

I have been playing piano for about 4 years, almost 5. My original plan when I started (about 7) was to be able to say I can play an instrument. I eventually found out that year that I didn’t want to practice and ended up quitting.

When I was about 9 I started up again. This time I was dedicated. I practiced and played without having to drag myself to the piano. It was really coming into something I loved. Last year I went a year above me, in recital music, and this year about 2 years above. I have really achieved a lot in piano.

It really surprises me that piano started my love for music, because I really didn’t like it at first. After starting again, I wanted to play saxophone and drums within a year later.

Music

Music fills my soul and covers my body. It speaks a different language, that most others cannot understand. It slowly echos around and dances in your ears. Music is everywhere.

Music a part of my life that I live and do. I play 3 instruments, saxophone and piano and drums. I also currently sing in Honor Choir. Some people might think I’m crazy for doing so much, but to me music speaks what I can’t say.

My Dad was an athlete and my sister has played many, many sports in her 15 years. My Mom played drums and piano. I really have a mix of everything! I have felt a lot of pressure to play sports in my life, but whats the point of doing something that you wouldn’t enjoy?
